The online dating scene is difficult and time consuming but it is a way to meet new people. As of now I haven't met the right one. I have many interests; actually too many too list all but here are a few. Reading, golf, classic cars, sports, live music (especially blues), and some travel. I'm financially secure and seeking the same. I've been single for quite a while and am very comfortable but would like to meet someone with whom I click. It all starts with being friends and then seeing what develops. Good things take some time.

A good first date to me would come after some phone conversations together. I think you can get a feel for the other persons personality by talking. What we would do on the first date would be something we would decide on together.
