I don't expect to find what I am looking for on a website. In fact, it appears that it never pays to have expectations in life at all. Expectations only lead to disappointment and hurt. So, I live each day with the thought that I can only 'expect' to try to make the best of the moment that I am in... and 'hope' for something good to happen in the next moment. Good things are not perpetual and are sometimes only good when compared with the bad things in our lives. So, sometimes even the bad times can be considered good when compared with the things that we really 'know' are really bad. And, even appreciated on some level when done so.
We live in a world that can prop us up and fill our lives with flattery and fat wallets and big houses one moment... and flatten us... leave us homeless, broke, without hope or love the next.
So, consider where your heart is... for that may be all that we really have... from one moment to the next.

Deep thinker, ... I am an artist and songwriter... I have two dogs ... I love all kinds of music... and art. And, I have many varied interests... I tend not to try to live ahead of myself... nor in the past... the present is plenty good for me, though, I tend to learn from past mistakes.

I tend to hold love higher than most people that I encounter... I question my judgement on that sometimes...

I find it interesting ... that, there are so many people on this site that say that they are looking for this and that... that you should or should not have facial hair... that you should or should not drink, smoke, cuss, spit on the sidewalk, kick a can, or whatever... that have such high standards and yet no regard for other peoples feelings... that have empty shells... souless pits... mindless thinking... selfish hearts... and a complete lack of the ability to care for others... yet... this is what they want you to do for them.... how ironic.

Let's take a drive to the coast and walk the beach... stop for a bite to eat... maybe a cup of java... listen to some music on the pier... watch the waves ... maybe body surf a bit?(which reminds me... never wear shiney jewelry when body surfin... unless you like to be a lure)... :this has been a public service announcement:... soak up the sun... or you pick it. :)...

or...another reality might be... to become celebate and become a monk....

but, I don't think that I would like that.
