I don't believe in racism, murder, hatred, dishonesty in any form, cheaters, thieves.
I believe in the wonder of babies, the innocence of children, that every child has the right to have a happy childhood,(I did foster parenting for a few years to help with this).....
I don't believe that 'mean/evil' people were born that way-I think they had something sad in their past that they never overcame.
I believe that while there are two opposing views of the war, and neither is entirely right or wrong.....
I don't believe any of us want to see so many men/women lose their lives this way.

"Freedom isn't Free" .....(my late husband was one of many who paid for it with his life).
I believe that actions speak louder than words and what you DO when you are with me,(alone OR with others), far OUTWEIGHS anything that you may have said.
I'm tired of doing everything alone, but I still would rather be alone, than to be in a bad relationship.

I think I need to update my profile, as I don't think it tells enough about me. I was born with a hearing loss. I'm now totally deaf in one ear, due to getting a Cochlear implant a year ago, which so far, hasn't been too successful, and I'm still trying to 'learn to recognize' words. I hear okay one-on-one with the help of lip reading, but I don't do well in groups.
Also, I'm very family-oriented, and right now am helping my daughter through some rough times, so if you never had kids, and it's because you never liked/wanted kids, then I'm probably not the woman for you. Of course, if you have grandkids that you adore, (or even kids), than it's a PLUS.
I did the long distance move....doubt that I would chance that again...unless (maybe), if it was FL (where my mom lives), or Ohio, (where my long time friends are).
Although I don't smoke...it wouldn't bother me if you do. I've been around smokers all my life and the second hand smoke hasn't killed me yet.
I don't care what kind of house/apartment you have, what kind of car you drive...what's important is that you treat me the way I would treat you....
If you are a lover of the 'Blue Comedy Tour Group', there is no doubt that we could share some laughs. Man, I could watch those shows over and over and STLL laugh till tears roll down my cheeks at a few of them. (Of course, this CRS syndrome makes each time I hear the joke seem like the first..Bwahahahahaha!)
I'm looking for my 'last relationship'...hopefully in our old age, you will still get that 'glimmer in your eye' when we look at each other from across the room.....
