My favorite kind of music is the "sounds of nature." Yes, it's a really cool song and is actually played throughout the world.

Lived the first half of my life solo. Now it's time to see what it is like living with a like-minded woman. I am interested in the dating, the flirting, the caring, the sharing, and all that "beginning" stuff. First it's good to be good friends who like to kiss. The "later stuff" comes later.

To give you an idea of my personality, I am quiet, unorganized at times, a dreamer, thrifty, a good listener,and have always had the entrepreneur bug. I am not one to "go with the flow." When others "zig," I usually want to "zag." I like the proverbial "Road Less Travelled."

I work hard to be my own boss. FYI, I have never really had a "job" working for someone else and except for 3 brothers, am an only child.

I am not into watching sports, using ATMs, texting, and cooking.

My hot button is to do more traveling. I don't mean the "let's go to a resort on the beach kind of vacation," but more of the, "let's go bike across Vietnam, camp & hike the trails of Teton National Park, kayak down some tropical jungle river" kinds of adventures.

I also like to bike, write, and shoot photos at places such as a county fair, in a forest preserve, and especially capturing images of people naturally going about their everyday life.

I live in the Chicago area but also maintain a simple apartment in a tropical lakeside town in Mexico and go there quite often. No TV, no air, but I have electric and internet. Nothing fancy but life's stress does not following me there. I am surrounded by a slower way of life. While there, I also help out in working with a group of local kids in a free after-school program. We teach them "life skills." I love taking others south-of-the-border and in fact, run a business of doing just that.

I am looking for someone who does not take life too seriously, has a smile in the morning, is a good listener (as am I), and believes biking in the local forest preserve, exploring small foreign cities, and whitewater river rafting would be cool things to do?
