- I place a great deal of importance on Intelligence, Honesty, Loyalty, Integrity, and Trust. If you think these things are just words and not really important in "Real Life" then please keep on trucking.

- I tend to be serious most of the time but like to cut up & have fun once I'm comfortable with the situation. (double entendre, innuendo, and wisecracking smart-@$$ commentary a standard staple once I know the person/group). My serious nature and personality tend to make me move and seem like a Fed or Guido sometimes, (especially when I have to wear a suit), but I have only ever been one of those things... As we get to know each another, I'll eventually tell you which one it was ;)

As for my "Body Type", I've always been Husky and Big-Boned. Over the last several years, working behind a desk has added a spare tire to the build; however, I'm actively working on getting into better shape, but I will always be a big guy.

As for my "Occasionally" regarding smoking, I occasionally like to smoke a cigar or two, I'm not a daily smoker, but will sometimes smoke while drinking, usually cigars, but once in a while, I'll have a regular cigarette. So, I'll probably never quit outright.

I am a professional career Geek... My Job may be stressful at times, but I enjoy it once the Politics are removed and I get to concentrate on the technology.

- I'm sometimes referred to as the "Big Giant Head" at work (Not my choice of nicknames, but nicknames seldom are...) since I tend to have most of the answers & if not the answers the right advice to get the person moving in the right direction.. I think it also has to do with the fact that I can be kind of oblivious when I'm concentrating on something, like Shatner's character on "3rd Rock from the Sun" where the name originated ;)

- At work, if they want something done right and done right now, I'm the one they go too.. I'm also the person called in to determine if the vendor is selling smoke and mirrors from a tech standpoint. I do the same when we interview for open positions on the team. I've spent many years earning this double-edged responsibility and reputation and I'm quite proud of it.

- Even though I'm a Geek (and proud of the fact), I really don't spend a lot of time on the internet gaming, I enjoy Online games but not obsessively often. I've played MMORPG's but am not currently active in any. I like RTS Games and FPS Games but again I don't play that often. I prefer to play at "LAN Parties" than just across the internet with strangers. A lot of my time on the net is spent reading, both web-comics and technology related articles.

- I enjoy the Science Channel, Sci-Fi Channel, History Channel, CSI Type Shows, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, I don't "get" Reality Television, Not really into too many sitcoms.. Stand up comedy Specials are always good. I've never really been big into sports, but I don't outright dislike them either.

- I also enjoy watching and playing Texas Hold'em and Blackjack, I have an account on PokerStars.com and when I get a chance I'll play online for a couple hours.

- I like the humor of comedians like Ron White, Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engval. George Lopez, Carlos Mencia, Eddie Izzard, George Carlin, Gallagher, Eddie Murphy, etc..

- Music: Mainly mid to late 80's & early 90's rock and roll, I like to be able to hear and understand the lyrics of a song, crazy I know, but that's just me. I do like some classical and even some country western music. (not the hillbilly stuff generally but the but Rock-a-billy and CW comedy I do enjoy from time to time.)

- I am a Pagan (solitaire) but don't practice much at all. My religion is in my heart and guides my choices in life, I don't wear it on my sleeve, but you have the right to know ahead of time so there it is. I will fully respect your choice in religion, so please respect mine. I go to two events a year to meet up with friends and family for a 5 to 9 day camping weekend. It lets me get completely away from technology and recharge any soul.

I'm open for pretty much anything, though it would be nice to have time to talk and get to know each other. So, my suggestion would be to meet at the Dallas World Aquarium in downtown. It would give us somewhere we could walk around and talk, it's public, and we could either eat there or walk over to the West End. If you like the idea or have a better suggestion, drop me a line.
