Hi, and thank you for checking out my profile. I'm on here looking for friends and possibly more if the sparks fly and we connect. If there's no spark, that's cool too, good friendships and good company are always welcomed.

My basic goal is simply to be happy. I know that's pretty general, so ask and I'll tell you more.

I honestly don't think the majority of people even read these things, but here ya' go.

What I'm looking for:
This is probably the most important, so take note...You gotta like pizza.

Here's what I'm into:
Working out. If you are, great, just one more thing in common. I'm not a marathon runner, but I do run, just did the 10 mile Soldier Field race and the Y-ME for Breast Cancer last year.
I like going to musicals when I can..I've seen plays like Jersey Boys, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon. But I still want to see Les Miserables and Wicked.
I'm an artist and author. I love art shows/fests and museums. If it's at all artsy, I'm there. Culture, gotta love it! I live in the burbs but I'm usually in the city every weekend soaking in all Chicago has to offer.
I like to read every chance I get. My favorite all time book is The Art of Racing in the Rain...awesome book.
I pretty much like the gambit of movies, from comedies to horror. I'll be honest, The Haunting in Connecticut scared the crap out of me..but I still watched it.
I'm sarcastic, so if you take things personally and can't laugh at yourself, then we wouldn't work. I must stress this...having a sense humor is a must..non-negotiable. I'll make you laugh so hard, you'll pee in your pants. And then when you do, I'll make fun of you. But don't worry, go ahead and give it back, I can take it. But don't get me wrong, I'm sarcastic but I'm never downright mean. I would never make fun of you if you peed in your pants. I have the common courtesy to at least wait till your back is turned...J/K.
In terms of music... Matt and Kim, Linkin Park, Angels and Airwaves, Blink, The Airborne Toxic Event, Taking Back Sunday, Weezer, Korn, LatchKey Kid etc...I like going to indy concerts and go to them as much as I can.


One last thing...I am who I am. And you are who you are. I don't care what you do for a living, how much money you make or what kind of car you drive...those are all material things that are attainable if you so want. What I care about is sincerity, loyalty, humor, kindness and a sweetness that could melt my heart...and if you like pizza or not. I'm not a faker or a poser. Take me for what I am and I'll take you for who you are. We're all human and we all have faults and idiosyncrasies that make us unique and special. If you take the time and try to understand me, I'll do the same with you and maybe together we can build a lasting friendship and possibly more.

Something simple at first. Meet for coffee. Or if you are up for it, maybe a balloon ride. Seriously..how fun would that be? Bonding at 1000 feet in the air..I'll bring a plastic garbage bag for you just in case...yes, I know, how very thoughtful of me.
