Life grows when a man and a woman share time. Sharing simple moments, simple activities, builds a world of good. Women see things a man cannot. The personal growth and peace a man derives from having a partner cannot be underestimated.

My deceased parents were wonderful people.
I have enjoyed many good experiences in life, and traveled quite a bit east of the Mississipi.
An ex-federal bureaucrat, newspaper reporter, supermarket bagger, instructor, and caregiver, I currently earn my living as an overworked techie. I was raised for government service, but could not tolerate the politics. Service to ideas which are greater than myself, however, still defines part of me. People, not computers, drive my heart and life. And, I love to explore.

All other things being roughly equivalent, I view women as being smarter, and more in tune with the universe than men.
If a woman is very tall that is viewed as an advantage.

On the downside: I am no longer in the gym rat physical condition of my younger days. I am overworked and have limited free time.

On the upside: I truly possess a caring gentle heart. I am hard-working, very bright, loyal, and trustworthy. And, if nothing else I can be a good friend.

You will find me to be a decent and sincere man with traditional values. I want to share life. Being down to earth is important. Empathy is valued.
Do not underestimate the depth of my character, or thought processes.

Idyllic places I would like to see someday include: Alaska, especially the Alaskan panhandle; Yellowstone; Eastern Nova Scotia; the Grand Canyon; Western Canada; Greece.

A picnic where two people have the time and space to appreciate the beauty of nature and each other. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, and it should always be appreciated for its uniqueness.
