Sending out a big thank you for all of you out there who have touched my life in some way over the last few years by either listening to my story or sharing your own. Your connections have helped move me along with my own life journey. Hope I was helpful for you as well... And as always, welcome to new friends...
Now back to our regularly scheduled profile (insert bouncing smiley here... Would someone please help me? I can't seem to figure out most of the electronic stuff we now have in this world):
Sense of humor is important to me, for myself and the one I spend time with. You can grab me with your humor...and keep me with your honesty, love and open communication. I expect those qualities just as I will give them freely to the one I am with. I am a friendly, open minded individual. I love to laugh and have enjoyed the comedy of Seinfield, Frasier and Scrubs although watching TV is something I rarely do. Currently, family and work are of strong importance to me, as I am raising younger children.
Time goes by so quickly and I do my best not to take anything for granted. I tend to be a little more free in my expression to others about how they have touched my life. As far as who I am, within me you will find a beautiful heart. People admire my strength and appreciate my empathy and ability to listen when they need an ear. I try to learn and grow in strength and personality from whatever challenges I am faced with. I tend to be a positive person and would want the same from a partner. I enjoy sarcasm but not at the expense that another person is "put down" as a result. I enjoy being with someone who tends to like a variety of people and who also enjoys trying to learn about themselves and "talk about their day" :) Seinfield reference...
Although I hope to find that true love connection again, I am open to meeting a variety of persons as friendships are important as well and you never know who or where that friendship will take you. Maybe to the real thing so... Best wishes to all.
Happy swimming :)

Okay... somehow I got it to work...Still, it REFUSES to work above.
What to do on a first date...hum... ;) It most likely depends on the person I am interacting with and the comfort level we have established. I enjoy just meeting over a soda/pop or drink or something a little more active yet, interactive such as miniture golf, darts, pool, etc... I enjoy movies but it is harder to get to know someone with the initial contact. I love live music as well so going to watch a band concert or some type of festival is also fun.
