About Me
Online dating is like picking out a watermelon, you watch experts pick one up, knock it a few times and declare it's a good one! You bring it home and it's always hit or miss. I suppose it's our little caveman ritual to show others we know what we are doing when we really don't have a clue.
So with that said, girls please don't follow my example.
I don't have photos of myself in exotic places to wow you or speak multiple languages. Just a nice guy, mildly intelligent, successful with his sense of humor intact.
Moved back to Canada after almost two decades away mostly spent in Silicon Valley in high tech. I have invested heavily in my career in the past, achieved my goals financially and have changed focus to finding the right woman for a lifetime of adventure. Keen on making meaningful choices in life, prioritizes family, know how to love deeply and stay true to oneself.
I am a single dad raising two kids by myself and is having a wonderful time. The wear and tear does show and I cannot lie. I used to be a carefree hippie in California. Now look at me, my shirtless photos burns the eyes.
Uncomplicated, values transparent communication and have an open appreciation for a well balanced life. Enjoy running 10k races and competing at USTA tennis matches. I'm an avid tennis player and if you are into tennis, I like you already! Foodie, love cooking and trying out new restaurants.
I'm looking for a young at heart lady that is untroubled when I take a bite of her pizza before handing it to her, remain composed when I do laundry and all her clothes smells of lavender but with a tint of mystery color. Race, age, different cultures, kids unimportant while intelligence, character and how she treat others is important. Someone that is mature, true to herself and can appreciate the simplicity of an uncomplicated life.
Some things I find enduring:
"lazy Sunday mornings in bed, legs intertwined, talking about nothing in particular" "being desired and desiring someone in return" "having great conversation about things that really matter" "dining out on popcorn and happy because you are by my side" "watching back to back episodes of The Colbert Report"
Life isn't a popularity contest, it's a happiness contest. It is about being happy and sharing the happiness with as many people as you can before your time runs out.
Much success in your search for that special person that you can't stand being away from!
