About Me
Well, I've just finished two years of college theatre, and just starting out with this whole "life" thing. Working part time, and pursuing acting with everything I have. I absolutely adore being onstage! It is literally what makes me happiest in this world.
I absolutely LOVE adventures; there's so much I want to do in life, that I haven't been able to stop myself from starting already. :) If I can get away with it, I love to travel, anywhere, any time. Road trips are the best! Flying's exciting, but there's no experience like working your way over, under and around country, going slow enough to take it in.
For music, I go with anything with a melody and a beat that takes you and kicks you in the face. Favorite bands include Modest Mouse, Mother Mother, The Killer's, Franz Ferdinand, Bright Eyes, The Beatles, Rufus Wainwright, and David Bowie.
I live for kareoke night.
I love dressing up, and cooking for my friends.
I'm a big reader, and write in a blog religiously. If you get me started on a topic I really care about, I'll write my face off about it.
I'm very short. Like really really short. You won't be able to believe how short I am.
The movies I never get tired of are the ones that never stop making me laugh uncontrollably.
My favorite things in my life are my best friends, my apartment, my music and my car. (even though I hate what it does to the environment).
I can be strong, but thunder still scares me.
And if you show me a spider, I will scream. Deal with it.
I like conversations, and good weather. Rain depresses me, and I don't like feeling sad.
I think there are lessons in everything if you look hard enough, and think about it long enough. I think the ones that are hardest to find are the ones you need to learn the most.
First Date
Honestly, I get nervous on first dates just like anyone else, and the guys I go on second dates with are the ones who can get past the small talk and put enough of themselves out there to interest me. Make me laugh, give me an opinion on something, challenge me to a drinking game, I don't care! Just don't be boring.

This waifish young lady is incredibly energetic. She's also insightful and warm--qualities too few have much of and she, like with much of what she applies herself to, abounds with. I have no idea who of my gender peers can come close to matching her but I envision him to be somewhere between Superman, Clint Eastwood, J.R.R. Tolkiens, Che Gueveras and Brad Pitt. Oh, and Farley Mowat too--but that's me throwing my own projection in. Viva is Tinker-Bell on steroids. |
