I consider myself to be an optimistic person and a true romantic! Yes,I still believe in "LOve at first sight"... although I have been thru many hard times alone I still look at the glass as half full.....Life is too short to dwell on the past"shoulda coulda"...Life is what we make it! I am mature enough to realize that 'Nobody ever promised me a Rose garden'....you have to take the Pricks with the beautiful Roses!!!
I have loved with all my heart and been loved back also had my heart broken a few times...unfortunately have broken some hearts too..... But, I truly believe that it is better to have experienced Love then to have never have been in love or loved back!!! When people tell me that they have NEVER really experienced that magical feeling that only "TRUE LOVE" can bring..my heart breaks for them!!!! I am kind, sweet and considerate..I can get references if needed! LOL
If by some chance I DO meet my Mr. Wonderful who knows what will happen? I am happy and by no means desperately seeking a husband but I do know that when and if he should find me I will welcome him into my life 100%. I also know that I will Not settle without that "True Love" feeling...you know the feeling I mean...when he is on your mind all the time, can't wait to see him, butterflies in the tummy when I do see him again, missing him so bad that it hurts, smelling his scent on the shirt he left behind and loving it, making me long for his kiss, hug, smile or just the way he makes me laugh. Gee, maybe I really do miss "being in Love".
I want to be in the kind of relationship that makes others "Jealous" when they see US together!!!!!!!
The type of man I am searching for will be honest, affectionate and playful,must have good hygiene (yes, that does include oral hygiene as well). He will be a one woman man (no players please) He will be capable of sharing his feelings and telling me when something is bothering him instead of just saying,'nothing's wrong' when I know something IS bothering him!!!!! He will 'listen' to me when things are bothering me and offer his arms to comfort me and tell me how "Everything is going to be alright" and "not to sweat the small stuff" but, most importantly how "Our Love for each other will keep us strong together forever!!!
I realize now that at our age we are no looking like we did when we were 25 yrs. old but...let's at least try to still take care of ourselves and not ever give up!
I'm just a Normal/regular gal..looking for a normal/regular guy!!

The first date is all about seeing if we communicate well together, laugh alot (very important to me) and just have fun..doesn't matter what we do or where we go! Chemistry is all it takes, it's either there or it's not!
I do enjoy meeting people at the POF Parties because there is no pressure on anyone! I do believe that on the first date we are meeting to just have fun, relax, laugh a lot and just enjoy each others company without fear of rejection or pressure for another date!!
