I am talking to someone. . . It isn't serious yet, but the one I am talking to is so intriguing I'm not even really interested in looking elsewhere right now. . .

My son just went back to North Carolina. . . Nothing is more painful than placing him on a plane, knowing I won't see him again for six months.

We are all searching for something. . . Something we've lost, something we never had, or the dream. . . We wouldn't be here if we already had it!

Update 8-20-08;

Like everyone else on here, I don't know quite what I am looking for. Once your heart is broken, it is hard to give it again. I am a romantic, so I know I want to be in love again. . . But, I am much wiser than I was as a kid, so I want to make sure that I am loved as much as I am in love as well.

You should know a few things about me. 1) I am very well educated. This intimidates some people, even though it shouldn't because, 2) I am pretty humble. 3) I am Liberal. I make no apologies. If you are really conservative, we might be friends, but we aren't likely to be more. 4) I won't pretend to be something I'm not to impress you, I won't lie about anything and I hate cheaters. 5) when my son is in town, I will be paying A LOT of attention to him. . . I only get to see him for 10 weeks per year. 5) I have a pretty obnoxious sense of humor, if you don't have one, I will drive you insane. 7) I am disorganized, or. . . Organized Chaos. If you are OCD, again, I will drive you insane. . .

Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. I have been saying I was going to update my pictures for a long time. I just got a new phone, so hopefully by next weekend, I will have a few new ones up.

My commute is about to end!!! Wooo Hooo!!! I found a place closer to work, so my commute will be 10-15 minutes each day, instead of 2-4 hours.

What am I looking for? Hard to say! I know that after spending 18 years with the wrong person, I would rather be alone. Being cheated on is one of the worst things that can happen to body, mind and soul! I really do want the Happy Ending. . . I yearn for a partner who loves, respects and cares about my dreams and goals, as much as I care about hers. I believe that the key is letting each other grow, because you aren't the same person you were ten years ago, why would you expect the other person to be? I believe that making a difference is more important than making money. . . . I want to travel, , , I like nice things, , , I want a nice house, but. . . I don't really care that much. . . Some would find it a flaw, but family time is more valuable than the Pot o' Gold so many waste their lives searching for in vain. My kids are my wealth.
