Life has certainly been an interesting journey. The first couple of years after my divorce were pretty tough. The last two have been much better.


Searching for love is never an easy endeavor. So much depends on mutual Chemistry. I am not offended if it isn't there. If there is one thing being married for 16 years and being divorced for four has taught me, it is that mutual chemistry and mutual respect are both required for a relationship to have any chance at success.


I would say that the thing I am most proud of for myself emotionally, is that I have matured to the point that I am ok alone. I would love to be in love again and I am a hopeless romantic. But, I also realize that there are many factors in life that it takes to be happy. I am happy with my career, my son will hopefully move here in 2 years and my daughter is doing better. . . So, life is going much better.

I love the Suns, the Cards, politics, history and exploring. Nothing better than loading up the car and just driving a direction. It isn't the destination, it is the journey that matters!

I value integrity, compassion, loyalty and honesty. Those are character traits I pride myself in having, they are traits I value in a mate or a friend.

OH, btw, I am a bleeding heart liberal. Just an FYI, if "liberals" annoy you, I will likely be no different. I'm not judgmental of those with differing views, but knowing me means you know I'm an active liberal/progressive.

I would like the first date to be memorable and unique, especially when it it the right person. I don't want the first date to be a movie, you can't talk, so you can't get to know the person.

A side note: I know a lot of the guys on this site can be obnoxious. You won't offend me if you aren't interested, I get that there must be mutual chemistry for a relationship to work. I won't write you constantly trying to sway you, because I think that is rude and pointless. But, conversely, if you stop replying, I will assume you are no longer interested in talking to me as well. I just don't want to be that annoying, pseudostalker guy that won't "take the hint!"
