I took a break from dating for a while. Now I am ready to give this a try again. Since I am a single mom, it is difficult to meet people. So...personals here I come.

Likes about myself: I am a happy & outgoing person, love (love, love) animals, am fairly intelligent, am caring & compassionate, can make friends with anyone, and have a pretty darn good sense of humor.

Dislikes about myself: I always seem to be in a hurry, can be a little on the impatient side, can be opinionated, and am a little naive.

As you can see, I have a pretty good sense of self. On the lighter side, I like all kinds of music, most kinds of movies, all theater and museums. Life is just too short to be unhappy, so I try my best to make the most of every day.

Now that you know who I am, then it only makes sense to give a list about the kind of man I want to meet.

Likes: good sense of humor, intelligence, ambitious (in all parts of life), someone who loves animals as much as I do, patience, a well-rounded man who likes all kinds of music, movies, theater, museums & okay, sports, too.

Dislikes: too conservative, unimaginative, unhappy, or just doesn't see the joy in life.

That being said, I want to meet someone who amplifies my strengths and tones down my weaknesses. Someone who wants to learn new things from me and will teach me new things. I don't want much, right? So if you fit these descriptions, let’s chat!

In truth this is an interesting question. It depends on the guy and what conversations have taken place before. My general preferences are places where you can do something together, talk. I like pool, bowling, the movie theatres that serve dinner, or the zoo or museum and a picnic.
