Young in mind, body, spirit and looking for same!

I love movies - I have a big collection and I regularly sit in a darkened theatre clutching my bucket of popcorn, waiting for the magic to unfold...

I love to run. I often run in the Sun Run and even participated once in the Grouse Grind Race (53 min) and the Vancouver Half-Marathon (once...never again..it was just a little too long). I've been hiking a lot this summer and plan to continue the fun with lots of snowshoeing this winter!

Friends and family are important to me. I love cats, dogs, horses - all animals really! I have two fat'n'happy Persians.

I'm a vegetarian, and you'll get lots of brownie points if you don't ask me if I eat fish!

Music? Love the blues, some jazz, most classic rock, metal, goth, grunge, classical - pretty cold on country, rap and techno.

Do I like camping? Well, if camping is a 4-star hotel instead of a 5, then, sure (well, maybe I'm exaggerating a little for dramatic effect, but showers and such are nice!).

I enjoy travel. Biggest trip to date was to Paris, and I have plans to go to Africa next year. I also like junkets to Vegas and exploring BC. I volunteer.

I think giving back and doing what you can for the community is important.

I love kids, and have lots of nephews; and I like watching hockey and football, but not enough to know names or stats.

If you can possibly have one photo without a baseball cap, that would be cool. Even cooler, no photos with dead fish. I know, I know - I'm hard work, LOL

I would ultimately like to meet someone special, but it all begins with a meeting, a connection, a date, and so on... Good luck to all of you in finding what you're looking for.

A nice glass of wine on a patio in summer or by a fireplace in winter, good conversation...or...lunch, a walk...probably not Starbucks...originality counts! :-)

PS I like Starbucks coffee - it's the cliche of the "coffee date" I'm making fun of.
