Being alone is a very uncomfortable state. Yet, settling for someone who is not quite what you are really looking for can be equally as uncomfortable. So this time around (and hopefully for the last time), rather than just settling for someone to pass the time with, I’m going to describe the woman I really wish to share the rest of my time with.

Here is the absolute truth about relationships...If you only have the the dull, inhibited, prim and proper, conservative “public relationship”, it is eventually doomed to failure. One, or the other, or even both will be unsatisfied, unfulfilled, and longing for more than they have; one or both will be searching for alternatives at some point.

However, even if you were to have a decadent, sensual, erotic “no strings attached” playmate, as much fun as it is, even that too is doomed to failure as there is no real substance (true intimacy), to keep the uncommitted playmates together. One or the other will drift away in time; even the most imaginative play can get boring.

It is only the perfect balance of the two, the merging of the very very nice relationship into the very very naughty partnership, which has any real hope surviving and being truly fulfilling for both in the long term. With that in mind, this is what I seek...

I’m searching for the girl next door; shapely, attractive, leggy, very intelligent, thoughtful, introspective, and above all, forward, blunt, open, and honest to the extreme. She is charming, witty, and so very much the perfect lady when we do all of those “nice” things with friends and family. But...when those friends and family are not around, she can relax and indulge in her other self: the decadent, overly imaginative, adrenalin addicted sensual playmate who is totally blended together and in sync with her perfect play partner.

I am seeking a woman who could become totally focused within an all engrossing relationship, and who would be quite happy to become hopelessly entangled in all of the delightful bits and pieces of that real relationship. I would find it delightful to have a lover who has all of my phone numbers committed to memory, and used them quite freely to plan and plot the “later ons”, the “this evenings”, the “tomorrows” and the “next weekends”. You should also clearly understand that the idea that having to “work very hard” at creating a “perfect for us” relationship is actually an absurd thought. If you continuously compromise on everything that you don’t already agree on, and are brutally blunt and perfectly honest with each other at all times, and have completely examined every little crevice and darkened corner of each others minds, then a “relationship” should be as easy and uncomplicated as breathing.

Hopefully, at this point, I have scared away every woman on PoF but one...And for the one that’s intrigued and still reading this, perhaps there is even more bubbling beneath your surface that I haven’t even touched on yet. Life is way way too short to waste any of it daydreaming and thinking about what could have been or what might be in the future...

The typical conventional first date is probably the most difficult of all human endeavors, and requires a level of intensity, intelligence, and perseverance which push the very limits of our human strengths and abilities.

It would be so very delightful to find the “right person” who had the ability to take all of the game playing and extreme complexity out of the “first date”, and sort of reinvent it along the lines of a very relaxed evening of playing poker with all of the cards face up on the table.
