I am retired and have been since 1998. Have had my share of life's challenges, but refuse to let them be the focus of my life for more then the day I learn of it. Sleep puts them in proper perspective, and as long as their is lite in the sky the next morning then their will be life in me!!! I'm a very positive man. I have always been the kind of person that will take a person who is down on their luck and put a meal in them THEN show him/her how to fish and garden to be self sufficate to always have a means of a full belly. And NO ONE can learn with the hungery wolf growling from inside. I am the kind of man that would come to someone's help if they were in need of it. Been told that I have a great since of humor and am better looking in person then in my pics. I've never thought it but some of the ladies have said I am quite good looking. I rate myself as average, at best. The apple I'm looking for is one that may be bruised slightly but is not rotten clear through. One that can handle falling to the ground but finds a way to get picked up and spiffed up to be the apple on top of the basket all shinning. One without a single drop of bitter juice anywhere in her. Mmmmmmm

I believe that first date really comes AFTER the First Meeting. First Meetings are for getting to know each other enough to see if there is enough of natures kindling, to smolder the first meeting, through the time until we get to the FIRST DATE. A quite place, for some coffee, tea or a sodapop. Or maybe lunch at a sitdown resturant. Just enough time together on the first meeting to chat and get a first impression. An hour of so is good for the first meeting I believe.
