Love a good amusement park and I'm a big fan of chocolate ice cream. How's that for a start? I like the classics, at least when it comes to cars and furniture. Love to travel, be it just a weekend get-away or something more involved. I've got a good job, a house and a good credit rating. Oh, and I've got longish hair (not tuck-into-my-belt long), in case that's going to send you running away screaming or, worse, chasing me with scissors. Let's see - I work to live, not the reverse. I firmly believe that grammar does count. I think I'd like someone who takes their health seriously but still wants to go skydiving. I can enjoy just about any kind of music, aside from rap and the old-time twangy country ("There's a tear in my beer" didn't make it into my mp3 collection). Live blues is a favorite. So is Irish, especially if there's a Guinness or two involved, but I'll never turn down solid classic Rock 'n Roll. I don't like coffee or sushi. I do like chocolate milk and the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. My TV viewing is mostly football, Discovery, SyFy, Travel, History and cartoons. Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, Discovery: Planet Earth and Eureka are personal faves at the moment. Sports. In my world, there are three. Two that I will happily go see live - football and hockey. And an additional one that I'll watch occasionally - golf. Yes, golf. I respect your right to enjoy baseball, ice skating, basketball or what-have-you as long as you return the favor. I think anyone can be a good kisser if given the proper inspiration. I have no issues with piercings or ink, but I was given all necessary holes at birth (no post-natal piercings). No ink for me, but that's more a lack of inspiration than lack of interest. I do have an issue with people who don't put their shopping cart in the cart return spot. Didn't mom ever tell you to put your toys away? "Patch Adams" was a good movie, but a far better idea. So was "Dave", for that matter. I have an English degree, but work with computers for a living. And my computer occasionally corrects my english, which is a bit ironic. Yosemite National Park is possibly the most beautiful place on earth, but I haven't been to Egypt, Greece or Australia yet, so the jury is still out (this would be the likes-to-travel section of the intro).

Enjoy ourselves? I'm thinking we'd have better luck setting up a fun first date if we both throw a few ideas into the hat. Anyone have a hat I can borrow?
