Hello there! Thank you for taking a look at my profile. I find the process of 'selling myself' very difficult, so although I have given it a go, I feel that I come across much better in person than I do on paper or screen (hope that doesn't sound too arrogant)! Initially, I come across as quite a shy and quiet individual...however, when you get to know me (and I eventually come out of my shell), I like to think that I'm a lovely person, with a considerate heart who is fun to be around! I consider myself to be honest, respectful, caring, loyal and reliable, and these are the character traits I am looking for in a man. I'm not asking too much am I??

Dislikes...these consist mainly of tinned tuna, celery, rudeness and bad time-keeping!! Also, a real pet hate of mine at the moment is overuse of smilies, text message talk, and as awful as it sounds, bad spelling (sorry!)!
As for likes...I'm looking for someone that is easy-going, easy on the eye and although it sounds cheesy, a genuinely nice guy!

For a first date, I prefer the traditional activities...a few drinks, followed by a meal (possibly, if you haven't scared me off by then or vice versa!). You can save your big romantic gestures (i.e. surprise trips to Rome/Paris) til the 2nd or 3rd date!
