It's hard to fill out profiles and not matter how many times I think I've written something to be proud of I'll delete the whole thing and start over...

So here's my attempt of self-presentation in a few sentences:

I'm not necessarily known for having a sensational sense of humor but can usually be found as the one laughing hysterically :0)

I do tend to really enjoy telling stories, engaging in long and deep conversations, and connecting with people on a serious and warm level.

People describe me as being intelligent, expressive, and sweet. Those that really know me also see me as being generous, romantic, affectionate, and passionate in my beliefs, values, and opinions. My friends often tend to mirror the same qualities in them as well.

I'm big on hedonism, the pursuit of worldly pleasures in all its various forms. I believe there is a lot in life to enjoy, even it means enjoying things alone from time to time. However I am most happy doing things with that significant other, with that companion by my side.

I see myself as being spiritual but not religious in any one particular creed (and there's a very good reason behind that if you want to ask).

I'm pretty open minded about a lot of things but not everything.

Nor am I competitive or stop to compare myself with others when I'm happy with who I am and what I have.

I'm also big on exercise, movies, astrology, religion, politics, and having adventures wherever you can find them. Adventure to me can be traveling thousands of miles in a cruise to another country, joining a class, or even having a fun trip to the grocery store!

What I'm looking for in a person is someone that has a deep appreciation for life. Someone mature, kind, and compassionate to the world and people around her. It would be absolutely fantastic if she was one of those romantic types! :)

I do have to be attracted to her though on more than just the emotional and mental level(in all seriousness). She has to be physically attractive, which to me means not to be overly large and not too overly skinny... (mid range is good!)

As a preference, my perfect woman would be near my age, someone sensitive and warm, a romantic, affectionate, ambitious, someone with a career (pursuing even), EXPRESSIVE in both voice and pen (meaning she loves to talk and share herself), likes keeping things close to home (attachment to close friends and family), not easily angered (as I am a very non-aggressive person), opinionated and wise, and has a balanced control factor in a relationship - someone not too pushy/ controlling nor someone that is too docile and passive. Appreciates other cultures, likes kids and animals, and is an altruist in nature.. If you have some of these (or all) qualities mentioned then we're definitely a match! :D

No I don't have kids/past marriage/divorce/messy hauntings from an ex/ or any other hiccups whatsoever. I'm free to do what I choose whether it be to connect with someone for short term or to find someone to eventually settle down with. And you having kids or not really doesn't effect my decision in that (who doesn't love kids!!?).

A Dinner outside a cafe style restaurant, on a warm summer's day.

A chit chat, a smile, and a story being told... glimpses of who we are being shared across the table.

She slaps me,
I smirk and tell her it tickles, she hits me again on the shoulder.....
I giggle and say "HARDER!'
