About Me
Hmmmm, Me... I'm a guy in my mid-twenties looking for fun people. I enjoy most any outdoor activity. I am told that I'm a great listener, but I've also been told that can I tell a good story. I enjoy a good game of cards. I have a wide variety of musical tastes. I enjoy movies at home or in the theater. I'm an avid reader. I ride my bike regularly. I know my way about a computer. I can be a bit of an intellectual. I've been up and I've been down. I'll try most anything once, and if I enjoy it maybe twice or more. I've been looking for quality friends in the South St. Louis area, people to hang out with. A good group of friends is a wonderful thing. I have been out of the dating game for a long while, so I'm looking to start slow-like. What I would really enjoy is a woman who knows what she wants and can also put it into words, or actions. I believe it's time to play for real, this is life and one day I would like to settle down with the girl of my dreams. Are you out there?
First Date
Of course any first date should include a meal, a light lunch or an ethnic dinner. There needs to be time to talk/share, during a ride works. Such as during the trip from a restaraunt to whatever activity is to follow. If not in the car, some coffee and or dessert at an outdoor cafe is an ideal place to get to know someone. A movie has always seemed to me to be a bad place for a first date, you aren't supposed to talk or move about; plus, it's dark. A club makes it hard for a one-on-one conversation. A game of poker can be a great way to get to know how other people's mind's work. An outdoor concert or event (The Muny anyone?) is a good chill spot. A group of friends on both sides can be a good icebreaker, because you know your friends will say things about you that make an evening more interesting and fun. Anything that combines two people's mutual interests works. As I've said before, I'll try most anything once, you name it...
