I am a homebody, who loves moving shapes, colours, and moving bodies(a frivolity of which I am heartily ashamed, but cannot seem to get over), so of course, I am attracted to adventurous men.

I respect hard work, and those who have courage, honour and compassion . Unfortunately, I am quite serious. Worldly success and charm are fun for an evening out, but I am not overly impressed, in the long term. I like my friends honest and kind. I am not particularly witty, rather boring, in fact. I like a nice well ordered, peaceful existence, and people around me who don't.

I have only been in love once. I miss it. Life should be shared. But love cannot be forced or wished for. It happens in it's own time.

I grew up on the Mountain and have lived on $15/week. I spent most of my childhood in The Laurentiens, barefoot in the summer and skiing in the winter. When I was young, I travelled. Went to school in the States, England and Toronto. I have farmed to live in the country and stayed home alone to be there for my children, when they were growing up. Now my responsibilities are minimal, and I can explore. But, having dreamed of peace and quiet on the home front, I find I hate it.

I am not interested in casual intimate relationships. I found them lacking. I am interested in meeting different men, talking, playing and doing things. I would like to meet Mr Right, but I also like to go out for a pleasant diner, go for a walk, cross country ski, picnic, or just head down to Atwater market, buy some fish and bring it home for a quiet cook in and hopefully a good laugh.
