to really appreciate this land

I first began to dream
that maybe all that we saw
was not what it really seemed
Once upon a time, long long ago, in a place very close, there was a bunch of open minded people who were out to change the world and make it a better place. What happened? Technology abounds, but folks just don't seem happier.
I like people who are thinkers, and form their own opinions of the world.
Everybody we meet may not be our best friend but they need not be an enemy either. Prefer those who are easy going, nonpretentious, no unnecessary drama.
Life can be easy, if we let it. You know what I mean, I like folks who look for the humour in things, and the positives, that like to laugh, and are curious about life.
So far life has been interesting, have travelled a bit, had a few different careers, raised a couple of children.
Consider myself very fortunate for my life so far.
