First date should be in a light and comfortable place where you can sit down and get to know each other. Since i live on the coast, i think that maybe dinner at some restaurant overlooking the beach and a walk on the beach afterwards would be a nice ice breaker or there is this speedboat tour here touring around the harbor that would be a fun first date. Yeah you got it, i am a hopeless romantic but really that would give you and your date a chance to talk and get to know each other without complications or expectations. It will give us a chance to see if there is indeed an attraction, whether for friendship or relationship. . Now as far as first dates go, I have to ask, how in the world can you judge a person by meeting one time? It's a starter for sure, but getting to know who the person is and is about, you can't. I think if your really serious in finding someone for a lifetime committment you should give yourself a chance to get to know the person inside before you judge, "Don't judge a book by it's cover, there is so much more to know inside.
