((update)) Yes i'm technically still married however due to the other end dragging her feet we haven't gotten things completed. However, there is a new update on this matter. As it seems I now have a finalization date for my divorce after 5 long agonizing years. I have an income, am putting myself through the last bit of schooling for my RN, and it's been a long very tough road, i'm not seeking someone to move in with me or in with her for at least till that is done and overwith. Someone with a sense of humor, I love to laugh, love to make people laugh. Someone that's into me for me not into me because of what I can give them. I'm seeking that one person I can't live the rest of my life without, someone who will depend on me, yet is capable of standing on her own two feet. I'm seeking a partner for life, a best friend, someone that can handle my shortcomings and see that even though i'm not perfect, i'm still human and bound to make mistakes. A little about me:

I'm a nurse LVN going on for my RN, I'm currently a part time vaccination nurse and home health nurse. I take care of a patient that is a paraplegic in the home on 12 hour shifts. I also teach new RN/VN's intravenous therapy insertions once a month and phlebotomy skills (blood draw) and occasionally I help out with other CE classes such as the PICC insertion class, renew your skills for nurses re-entering the field after 5+ years being out and EKG classes.

I was a drummer in high school, and yes although my drum set at the moment is stacked I still enjoy sitting down behind it and jammin' from time to time. I was also in the U.S. Army for 3 years as a 13B (artilleryman), I have an associates degree in criminal justice as I wanted to be a police officer there for a while, and fell in love with the medical field. I was an EMT working on an Ambulance for a year and entered VN school where I got married. I've now just started to recooperate from that and am finishing up the last few classes before finishing my RN. Once an RN for a year I plan to do some travel nursing to a few different places. On the list to visit is Alaska (anchorage) as I love to fish, Hawaii just because of the beautiful landscapes and the history that is there, Missouri, Illinois and Maine because I have a few friends from the Army that live there and Las Vegas/Laughlin because it's still close to home but the river is close and Lake Mead is nearby as well. Gotta' love them $5 blackjack tables. :D I love laughlin, nothing better than riding the water taxi at night, going into bullhead city and wandering around or just going to the Riverside for the "Prime Rib Room" for dinner. I'm not much of a gambler but enjoy it on a small scale. I live in the Disneyland area and love Space Mountain and California Screaming, there for a while I had a year pass and would love to go after work and have dinner at the Blue Bayou (if you don't know it's the restraunt in pirates of the caribbean) ride a couple of rides, watch the fireworks show and come home.

I'm not a party animal, I've had those days while I was in the service, i'm more of a calmed down person that just enjoys what life has to offer, enjoys helping others and loves being with a special someone.

first date? oh movies, dinner, the normal sort of thing, maybe even down to the beach, up to the mountains, just depends is all... could lead to something more uhh... devilish I guess If both people are into it.

I'll be taking a more traditional approach to dating in the next couple of months, one time things or spur of the moment types of things aren't in my opinion available any longer. Either come to me wanting one man only, or not at all, sorry.
