Well, I'm an easy going, clean cut guy, who doesn't do drugs or drink to stupidity etc. I would be better suited to those that are past the "bad boy" stage! I've got my life together, at least I think so. I'm fairly new to Alberta( from Coquitlam,BC), so I'm still adjusting . My type of girl would be smart, easy going yet driven, emotionally strong, mature, decisive and most importantly confident and usually smiling. There is something HOT about smart women, you know the librarian look, we all know they are not always "ladies". There is a lot more to me than I can put here, at least without sounding conceited, LOL.
I'm finding most women my age already have families or don't want any, it is a choice I guess. I would like someone, that has plans of having a couple of rag rats, LOL. I come from a family of four children, but two is all I want. More to follow on that front...
Truthfully, I'm getting to that age where a girl you can take home to meet the parents is more appealing right now...well I guess as opposed to casual. that being said, friends make better long term partners, lust only lasts for so long. Most successful relationships usually have people that are friends more than anything else. Good communication is key. I have been hearing from some female friends, that this site is just a meat market, that the guys are after one thing. Not this guy...don't get me wrong, I'm not dead, but time and place... I'm loyal and trustworthy and what I say is what it is.
I like classy and well mannered girl next-door types, who think outside the box. I grew up in a household that valued education and family values. The race of who I dated, was never an issue in my up bringing, having grown up in a culturally diverse environment. I spent half my life overseas, so I know a few things about respecting and adapting to different cultural differences that might arise. I was taught early on to work hard and respect others, so the little I have(yes, I'm no Bill Gates), I have worked for and I enjoy.
Fitness, health and well being(mentally and physically) are important to me and my work, so I need someone who will motivate me on my "lazy days". I'm not looking for you to be a miss-fitness competitor, but a certain amount of pride in appearance. I'm into someone of my similar build or better, there is always better. I'm quite visual(like most men) and have to be visually and physically attracted. It is a preference and no way should be taken as an insult.
I don't like awkward first dates, where you want to make an exit through the bathroom window. That might explain, why I might come across as "full of it," with my super long write up. I don't want to leave out any detail.

First Date
Movie, dinner, a walk, go for a dirt bike ride (only if you ride too) keep it simple and go with the flow. Go to the hand gun range, squeeze off a few!! Or just having a conversation and getting to know each other. We could do some dancing, that is always an ice breaker!!!
