My name is David. My previous description was long and basically told you everything about me, so I've instead decided to just put a few facts about me.
*I've graduated from college twice: once for my Associates Degree in History and once for my Paralegal Certificate.
*I consider myself to be mildly athletic and do 'The Shaolin Workout' (if curious about what it is, feel free to ask) whenever I have time.
*I am honest and have a good sense of humor.
*I can speak some Irish, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish (not fluently).
*I sometimes finish a thought out loud.
*I tend to talk to myself, most times it's when I'm working on a problem of some sort.
*I love to read, and sometimes I'm reading more than one book.
*As my headline says, I'm really good at Trivial Pursuit, except for sports questions. I have a wealth of "useless" knowledge, such as J is the only letter in the alphabet to not be in the periodic table of elements.

I'm not looking for a perfect girl, I'm looking for a girl that is a perfect fit with me. Basically, I'm looking for someone who is wanting a long-term relationship, doesn't mind starting off as friends first, someone who shares a zest for travel, someone who would support me as I would support her, a nonsmoker, nondrug user; in short, someone that I'd have chemistry with, a friend as well as a partner. Someone who is independent, thinks for herself, yet doesn't mind letting me play the part of protector every once in a while (if the situation warrants it). Maybe a dinner and a movie once we know each other better (only because it's hard to have a conversation and it might be awkward depending upon the movie), museum, going to the shopping mall, a park, the Illinois Beach State Park and walk on the beach, go bowling, or dinner and a movie at home. If it's nice out, maybe a picnic or a walk. Or maybe act childish and have a snowball fight or jump in piles of leaves. Whatever strikes our fancy at the time.
