About Me
Apparently i put this on the wrong end of my profile; so let's fix that post haste. I am very happily not single, but i am still friendly if that works for you. I still have a profile simply because i have made friends on this site and i have fun posting poetry here from time to time. Sorry if this inconveniences or irritates you. There, that should satisfy all those who 'hate to read' and won't make it past the first line of my profile.
And the profile bit (just cause why not?): You would think I'd have managed to figure a few things out at this point in my life, but most things remain alarmingly ambiguous, in fact they get more unclear with time. But here is what is true for me at this particular moment;
1) Life is not all about the career or the big house or the expensive car or the perfect family. It is only about those things if those are the things you truly want.
2) Stability is overrated and undervalued.
3) Almost all things in life are worth trying twice, just in case the first time is a royal screw up.
4) Change is the only constant, go with it, and
5) If your backpack weighs less than it should and your art box weighs more, then all is well with the world.
Now #5 may be specific to just me, but i think the rest of them can and maybe should apply to anyone.
K, onto the more concrete stuff. Here is the bare bones. I classify myself as a hiker, biker, reader, writer, artsy, and an animal lover. I am either stubborn or persistent (choose your adjective), laid back, honest, and at times, spontaneous. Sometime i try to make sense of what direction my life will take next, but the world has a habit of surprising me about my place in it every time i think i've become predictable. Still, for someone who is never sure what plans tomorrow holds, it seems i've always got something in the works for next month... or year... or whenever. Right now the wheeles are in motion for the Pacific Crest Trail, about a year from now. YAY!

The coffee shop thing seemed to work pretty well, even though neither of us was interested in drinking coffee. Sit, talk, be warm, smile a lot, and relax!
