Last week, my son insisted that I watch a Jim Carrey movie, YES MAN. I really got it, and not for the first time, just a reminder. But more than ever I realize that I have hit a slump in my life, and need to say YES to more... I guess I have gotten bogged down with living, working, and spending time with grandkids. I'm not OLD yet, I just have forgotten how to live in the NOW. I need to find my fun again.

I love music, wide variety, and love to go to hear live music. I equally love theatre, the smaller the better. Don't care what the subject is, I can get into it just for the talent and art. I read alot, mostly fiction, just for the pleasure of reading. I have been into self-improvement books in the past, and I have found the universal thread that brings them together, so now is the time to practice what I've read. I'm not into the drama that life brings, but into the excitement that is there in every minute.

I enjoy reality TV, but only the ones that show people's talents, singing, dancing.
I have been involved with an all women's show chorus for the last 4 yrs. We sing 4 part a capella barbershop harmonies. It is such a hoot, there are 100+ women from the ages of 15 to 82. We went to Hawaii last Nov for international competition and
WE ARE 6TH IN THE WORLD!!!

More about me, I consider myself an UP person, I see the glass as....Why not drink it all, I can always fill the glass again.
A like to think that I'm a typical woman in my 50's. I'm active, but I don't work out 3 x a week. I don't look like a grandma, but am one. I also don't try to look inappropriately younger than my age. Long gone is the little black dress. But I ain't dead yet. Haha.

NOW...your part....I would love to meet someone that wants to start as friends, and see where it goes from there. Someone that enjoys music and theatre. I am a romantic person, and love to feel special and make someone happy and special too.
