| | So here we are... casting out our proverbial fishing lines into the dating sea! Will we each find a 'fishie' online? As the old saying goes... nothing ventured, nothing gained! ;)
So here's a little taste of what I'm all about...
- I definitely smile a lot and have been told that my smile is infectious! :)
- I'm adventurous and active but at the same time fairly laid back (for me, it's more about the experience of participating and having fun than the competition)
- I enjoy getting my hands dirty fixing things or cooking up a gourmet meal
- I'm happy both in the lap of luxury in a five star hotel as well as camping in a tent in the beautiful outdoors
- I like to both teach and be taught
- I enjoy and value spending quality time together, yet also ensure to make time for friends
- I don't hesitate to open the door, offer a helping hand or even talk to complete strangers!
- I definitely enjoy the odd road trip (wine tasting, concerts, skiing and the Oregon coast come to mind)
- while I have a great career in the medical device industry, I'm an entrepreneur at heart and always perculating ideas for my next business
- while I'm definitely a consumer, I'm also conscious of the environment and try to walk the walk
- I have a goofy and silly side, but also know when to be serious
- I love to travel - see and experience other cultures, people and food
- I've lived in Manhattan and in the last several years have been to Tanzania, Thailand, western Europe, Morocco and most recently the middle east. Next is Kilimanjaro and Rawanda to see the mountain gorillas - my 'to do' list unfortunately keeps growing!
Finally, while I enjoy a night on the town, I also cherish my down time - there's always room for a simple evening at home with dinner, a movie, a good bottle of wine and of course some great company!
So, whom would I like to meet? As a friend once put it when I asked what they were looking for in their next relationship, 'my new best friend'. I'd like to meet someone who is down to earth and shares a few of the same interests and values in life, as well as someone who is open to the occasional adventure as we explore the many amazing things that life and the world have to offer! |
