So, I decided to completely rewrite this thing today.
HI! My name is Andy. I am 27 years old and live in the Columbus / Worthington / Westerville area near Polaris Mall. I am originally from Youngstown, OH, but have been in Columbus for a long time now. I graduated from OSU in 2004 with a degree in Psychology and value education. I am a hardworking SOB - I work as a Debt Advisor for a local debt settlement company, and I strive to be the best at what I do every single day. When I am not working, I play drums for a local rock / alternative / punk band. I've been drumming for over 15 years and love music in general. Besides working and drumming, I enjoy being outside, love hiking, singing karaoke at the bar, kicking back watching a movie, and hanging out with all of my friends. I can cook, too.
I think I have a pretty good idea now what I am looking for, though it's taken some time. First of all, looks aren't everything, but I have my standards. I am looking for someone with a great personality, someone who likes to talk and is curious about me and everything in life. That is so refreshing! I'd also hope to find someone with similar music tastes and a love for concerts. I'm going to see Nine Inch Nails in Cleveland this summer. I also listen to bands like Dillinger Escape Plan, 311, Queens of the Stone Age, Black Light Burns, Silverchair, Cursive, Radiohead, Glassjaw, etc. It's also nice to be able to listen to the same music when we're out driving and to be able to talk about it. I was a band geek in high school, so I am definately cool with people who played some kind of musical instrument, whether it be the clarinet or the triangle! Other than that, a sense of style is always nice. Offering to pay some of the time is also nice. Taking extra steps to make a date special is always awesome, too. It would be nice to date someone with a college education, with transportation, someone who hates drama as much as I do, someone who is happy with their current situation, and someone who has goals in their life. Above all, I want someone who I think is cool enough to hang out with both myself and my friends.
First Date
It really doesn't matter. Both people go from point A and meet up at point B, have a little conversation, and it goes from there. Though, I wouldn't call a movie a good idea for a first date.
