This is truly a song for the ages, as the voices of Bocelli and Brightman together are magical, and so emotional that it brings me to tears every time I hear it. two other songs that makes me think and can make me ball like a baby are "100 Years" song by Five for Fighting and "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol...Given what I just said you probably think I have a very morose personality, but I am 99% of the time very upbeat and happy! However, there is no denying that there are a few songs that can "get to me"...Now here is one song that makes me feel happy and up and that song is "Jason Mraz -I'm Yours".

I will make this very simple, by listing the 34 most important things you need to know about me before you contact me or respond to my email (these are in no particular order):
1. I am retired as of June 12th 2009 from teaching.
2. Many have asked, what are you going to do now that you are retired ;-) well, since you asked, I am writing a History workbook that is aimed at JHS and HS age students. It utilizes higher level thinking skills as opposed to "rote memorization" and simple "find the answer in the reading" type questions
3. I moved from Rancho Cucamonga California on Sept 1 2009 and bought a new home in the Las Vegas Community known as Summerlin-Center it is across the 215fwy from the Red Rock Casino. Check out the photos I took of my home, and my new kitchen (I know I am like a new father showing off baby pictures)
4. I have a yearly income that is well over $100K a year, and my FICO score is 816 (April 2009).
5. I am a member of the Las Vegas Stirling Club (Turnberry Place).
6. I have a BA from UCR in Political Science and History.
7. I have a MA from CSUSB in School Administration.
8. I taught 39 years at the JHS level and 32 years part time at the JC level.
9. I served as an elected official (High School District Trustee) for 32 years.
10 I was married twice for 17 and 15 years respectively.
11. Both marriages ended when my EX's had affairs--I never cheated in either marriage. That is not to say I am perfect. They said I was too busy and did not give them enough attention....
12. I have two children that I am very close to. My son is 34 and my daughter is 40
13. I am a grandfather 3X over :-)
14. I am willing to get married again.
15. I have been single for 3 1/2 years.
16. I love to travel and plan to do plenty of it.
17. I love music some of my favorites are Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Simon and Garfunkel, Beatles, Dan Folgerberg, Chicago, Fleetwood Mac, Styx, and the Moody Blues.
18. I love warm weather and living close to the action (but not too close).
19. I love to watch movies
20. I love discussions covering politics, philosophy, finance, relationships.
21. I love Baseball, football, basketball.
22. I was born in Pittsburgh and I am a big Steelers fan..Gooooooo Steelers......
23. All of my pictures were taken within the last 14 months.
