I'm originally from the east coast, born and raised in New Jersey (exit 9). No accent. Rutgers grad. My true age is 57 however this site won't let me make the change. Spent several years living in Manhattan and moved to L.A. in '85. While I enjoy the sweat of a good hard workout at the gym (4-5 times a week) or a long bike ride or hike, I also enjoy quiet time reading fiction, biography's and action thrillers. To me most any day outside at the beach is a good day. And laughter is the best medicine next to singing. Women are to be treated with respect and good old fashioned chivalry like opening car doors, regular doors, and walking on the outside, you know the curbside. I like to cook and bar b que even in the winter or in the rain. I have a great recipe for a chocolate martini. Love to sing - anything Sinatra and to go dancing. An ideal relationship would be one in which each partner strives to uphold and uplift the other to become the best person that they can be while not losing themselves. My views on social/political issues tend to rest in the more conservative end. Listening to Dennis Prager and Michael Medved help inform my views. Each day I try to live in faith not with fear and with a sense of gratefulness and thankfulness. I do attend church regularly and would like to share that with someone. A first meeting is usually a get to know you in the flesh type of "date". I think it's nice to meet for coffee or a drink and appetizers and to keep it light. No pressure, no stress, and see if there's a bit of chemistry.
