Presently live in Seaforth but work in Cambridge so will be relocating to Cambridge this summer because the drive every day and price of fuel these days is beginning to become a drag....Just checking things out, meeting new people, etc...What ever happens later will simply just happen on its own.

I am supposed to tell the world what I am about....Well I am rather persistent when it comes to accomplishing my goals, wants or needs, I don't give up. Some call me stubborn but I call it knowing what I want and not standing by the sidelines waiting for it to come to me. I consider myself smart with a good sense of humour and able to kick back, relax and take a joke as well as I can give. That being said I must also stress that as much as I can be laid back and easy going I am also very responsible, hard working and mature, meaning I am looking for the same in a partner, kiddies need not apply.

Like it or not we are all here for a common goal but even if we do not develope a romantic relationship with somebody we still end up being very fortunate because we have the opportunity to become better aquainted with others and develope friendships. Either way we all end up luckier than we were the day before.

Pet peeves: Those that say/ do one thing but completely contradict themselves by doing the exact opposite ( sh*t or get off the pot and stop wasting time). Those that feel it necassary to use their past as an exscue or escape in an attempt to evade any sort of closeness whether it be a friendship or other. Come on people, we all have a past filled with painful or upsetting experiences. How be we leave it where it belongs.....in the past. Instead, try welcoming what may very well be right before us by picking up what's in front of us and going with it.

For those that can't get out of the past I have to ask...Why the hell are you here wasting your time if you aren't ready for anything or like to use past experiences as an excuse not to experience new things with new people....After all, not one person on this site is part of your past so why tar everybody with the same brush?

Like it or not, as much as a person may have had bad experiences, if those experiences are set aside before meeting somebody so as to go into it with an open and free mind ready to make an opinion based on indivuality we may very well all be able to enjoy ourselves, each other, be much happier and be able to enjoy new, happier and much more pleasant experiences.

Albert Einstein said it best........"The significant problems we face in life can not be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created the problems." A very good rule to live by regardless of the problem or walk of life.

For a first date? I am afraid I can not answer that as every first date is different. The only natural thing to do would be to just go with the flow. We never know what will unfold, sometimes things fall or drop right in front of us and we just have to pick it up and run with it so we can see where we go.
