I want someone in my life who can carry on an intelligent conversation, make me laugh until my face hurts, challenge me intellectually and spiritually, and has an open mind. Someone who will stop me in the middle of a mundane task, take my face in his hands and say, "I love you so much."

I'm not really a back-of-your-Harley, Nascar kind of gal (or did you already get that?). But never say never. Education and family are very important to me. I have a degree in Theater with a minor in Music and Art. I have three great (grown) kids and three exceptional grandchildren (aren't they all?). I was born and raised in Miami Beach, went to boarding school in Key West, and love boating, fishing, etc., BUT I also lived in Tennessee where I had a bar (and yes, played guitar and sang...it's required there!) and really learned to cook Southern style! I miss the seasons terribly...that palpable sense of change in late September that you can even smell!...watching the snow fall silently by the light of a streetlamp...(sigh!).

I've played classical piano since I was 4, started ballet at 2, went to Europe on the Queen Elizabeth with my grandmother, docking in Casablanca for a day -- incredible, even by a 12-year-old's standards! I'd love to take the Alaskan cruise. I lived in Northern England for 4 years (about 50 miles from Scotland, as the crow flies).

I wanted to be Julie Andrews when I grew up, but apparently the universe has a warped sense of humor, so I'm a medical transcriptionist. I love N.Y. and Musical Theater, cooking for people who truly love food, drawing charcoal portraits, painting in oil, theme parks (especially The Magic Kingdom at Night), carnivals, book stores, and yes, I'll admit it, even Karaoke once in a while. Tube favorites include House, Grey's Anatomy, Boston Legal, Brothers and Sisters.

APPLES & WINE

Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy.

The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Now Men ---- Men are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh*tout of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

On a slightly more serious note, I believe in the Power of Attraction (The Secret), living in the moment, the divinity and equality of all things living, the sexual duality of the universe, healing energy, and positive thinking!...to name a few.
