You know, I guess I've gotten to point where I'm pretty content with my life. I've got a great family and friends, and I'm very self-entertaining; am never bored. It would be nice to meet someone special, maybe someone to do a hike with or watch movies and eat popcorn with. I'm pretty much a homebody these days, but I still love to get up into the mountains to go hiking or camping, or take the occasional road trip (I love little weekend trips around the state, there's so much to see!)

My headline is a tad misleading. Although I absolutely am addicted to watching the Food Network, I'm not much of a cook. Although I like to cook, there doesn't seem to be much time for it. Maybe you could inspire me to make time for it?

10/17/09 UPDATE - I'm T minus 2 weeks from moving into my new home that I just bought. Can't wait, I'm so excited to be in something that's MINE!!

Since first dates can sometimes be tense or awkward, I would say meeting for lunch would be perfect. That way if it is awkward, then the time is limited. If it's going great, then you can always make plans for drinks or dinner later...maybe a hike?
