About Me
I'm a divorced father of two. I have a 23 year old daughter who graduated FSU in 2006 and now lives and works in Chicago. My son, 19, is a student at UCF and lives near campus. Occasionally he comes home to do his laundry and spend some time with Dad, I think.
I'm a freelance audio engineer/sound recordist doing commercial work, documentaries, corporate work, etc. I work mostly in the Central Florida area but am likely to travel just about anywhere throughout the state or country at a moments notice. I work an average of 8-12 days a month so I have a lot of free time and I love it.
I'm a good man who loves his children. I'm loyal, passionate, tender, and love to pay attention to my woman. I'm seeking a companion who has similar likes and dislikes and whom I find attractive. Call me superficial but I believe looks and chemistry are important. I'm not really a big city person or are you likely to find me hanging at the mall. I'm not afraid to have a drink but am definitely not a big party person and have never smoked.
A great chef I'm not, but am likely to whip up a pasta dish in the kitchen or throw some chicken on the grill at a moments notice. I'm not afraid to cook or wash the dishes. I've been a bachelor for many of my 53 years and know how to clean house, do the laundry, go grocery shopping, maintain the yard, wash the dog, and fix the car. And, I also know how to have a good time and enjoy myself after the work is done (or sometimes before).
Four to six days a week you'll find me at my local gym, 30 minutes of cardio, and 30 minutes weight training. I do it for myself, to stay healthy, and keep me focused on the positive. For me, it works. I also like many outdoor activities, hiking, kayaking, bicycling, make me an offer, I'll give it a try, always have.
Did you read the whole profile, or just check for teeth, hair, age, and height? If you didn't, you're passing up a good man. I'm told they're hard to find.
First Date
I like first dates to be casual. Perhaps a lunch or dinner at some local favorite spot or coffee at some open cafe on the water, something simple and unassuming. And, if that doesn't work out for either of us then that's fine with me. Being comfortable with someone is what I'm looking for before we move on.
