I’m a 34-year-old SWM, 6’1’, a touch over 200 lbs (which I’m working on getting down, with the holiday season and craziness at work). I have really short brown hair and brown eyes. I do have a full-time job and my own mini-SUV with a pretty set work schedule (which is lucky, as I typically get Fridays/Saturdays off, unless I have a store meeting to deal with on a rare Saturday). I’m a big sports fan/player (when I get the chance to play), with baseball, golf, hockey, and football as my big faves (and I love playing basketball). I’m a big movie nut, ranging from action to comedies (and yes, I’ll admit that I’ll watch romantic comedies, as I really enjoyed “Definitely Maybe”). Musically…I range the spectrum from power/symphonic metal to 80s new wave to classical to Japanese pop music. I also do take the time to read, as I usually stick with a small handful of favorite authors (Robert B. Parker, Jim Butcher, Clive Cussler w/Jack DuBrul/Paul Kemprecos, and David Morrell). Also, I love revisiting some of the TV shows I grew up with.

What I’m looking for: I’m preferably looking for a SWF/DWF (sorry, no separated gals please), age 24-37, a non-smoker (that’s my priority is a non-smoker), who has a thin/athletic/average/or slightly overweight build, with 0-1 kids, who is searching for a relationship with the potential for it to grow into a long-term thing.
To be extremely blunt...I’m ready for a relationship, and I would hope that you would be as well. Please be over your last relationship or decide that after a date with me, you're not ready to date even after 6+ months away from the last guy.

After the sheer seeming lack of interest when I contact some of you….I realize that I’m not a 10, but I’m very upfront and honest, with plenty to offer my prospective female partner. I’m nice, sweet, loyal, and kind, which at times seems to be taken for granted a lot lately. All I really ask for is a chance. And considering how some of the “other guys” would treat you on this and other sides, it just amazes me how the nice guy like myself doesn’t get a real chance from some of you. I guess some gals must love getting the jerks and pervs of the world. *shakes head*

READ THIS!: After the last few times I’ve been here...I decided to come up with this...if I contact you and you’re not interested, please have the courtesy to send a polite “thanks, but no thanks” response. It’s the courteous thing to do. Sure, I’m not a supermodel or Donald Trump, but at least I’m a nice, sweet, kind gentleman. I just ask for a polite response please, instead of the snap, “read/deleted” I see many of you put after you read my message to you. How would you think if that was done to you, or to put it in another perspective, if you interviewed for a job and they just “read/deleted” you after it? Are you that lazy –OR-- is it THAT difficult and strenuous to type four easy, little, polite words and click “SEND”? Amazes me how some people lack simple, common courtesy now. To those that actually send a polite response…thank you for being a courteous human being. To those that still won’t give a polite “no” response...remember that karma is out there.

Depends on the person. My fallback would be a nice romantic (hopefully candle-lit dinner, either going out, or I can cook) dinner, along with either a walk in the park to watch the sunset (like at Creve Coeur Park to watch it set by the lake), or going to a sporting event/playing something (going to the batting cages/mini-golf/etc...). Like I said, depends on the person and their interests, as I try to plan around mutual interests.
