I've been living in Austin for almost a year, and so far it's been great. I moved out here from Atlanta (Not orignially from Georgia, I grew up in Virginia, so instead of a terrible southern accent, I have an endearing east coast accent, whatever that means), after getting the hell out of that city.

Oddly enough I have a bachelors degree in game development, but I decided I didn't want to be a professional slave, so I write software for a living. I do tinker with 3d art and indie game stuff, but its more of a hobby right now. Who knows though, maybe I'll go back to it some day.

My tastes on most stuff are all over the place, but I'm a huge fan of punk rock (I listen to a lot of music that has a social message, not this whiny crap they play on the radio). I also have a serious love for awful/cheesy horror movies.

I'm addicted to documentary TV shows, and when I do watch tv, its usually The History Channel, The Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, or Court TV. Strangely enough, most of the books I read and tv I watch are about science, philosophy, or education in genearl. There's a lot to be said for being funny and random, or I can debate politics or life with anyone who wants to.
