Hi, I'm Peter. I live and work in a typical sleepy old English town with lots of old pubs, live bands, history and a creek.

By nature, I am a very creative, inventive person. I'm also very loyal too, once I have decided I like you, that's how it will stay.

I also keep physically fit and active. I have often been told I look much younger than I am - but usually by people wearing thick jam-jar-bottom glasses !!


I was born in NW London and lived there until I joined the Army where I travelled to many countries including Germany, Canada, Belize, Denmark, Falklands and Saudi Arabia. When we meet I probably will want to tell you about all my adventures !

Shortly after I joined, my parents moved to Milton Keynes, and surprisingly, they even told me their new address. After a few years they got bored and moved to Wales.

After I left the Army I spent some time working for other companies but the 9-5 thing just isn't my style. I am now in a position to work (or not) on whatever I feel is cool and interesting. I can come and go as I please so spending time together shouldn't be a problem.

As I have no boss, its very hard to say what my job title is, but entrepreneur is pretty close. I fund and develop specialised web sites (bit like PoF, FaceBook, Ecademy) but much smaller. This means my fortunes go up and down. I do other things as well - just ask.


The kind of women I get on with have that certain cool intelligence mixed with a wicked sense of humour and handle a man without a "proper job" - don't worry, I'm quite solvent, mortgage-free, debt-free, self-supporting and legal !!

I'm also self-contained and house-trained - which is another way of saying I know how to use washing machines, hoovers, microwaves, toilets, showers, baths, etc

If you have children or pets, don't worry as I get on with both !

Arrested terrorists (Army)
Been shot at (Army)
Been mortar-bombed (Army)
Taught a baby Starling how to fly. If you want to know how I did that just ask !
Climbed up a tower crane (As a stupid kid !)
Jumped of a slow moving train like in Western films (As a stupid kid !)
Fought with an alligator (In Belize. It was only 1 foot long !)
Fought with a shark (In Belize. it was only 2 feet long and I was in a canoe)
Fought with a soldier-ant (In Belize. I lost, it bit a lump out of my thumb)


My hair length varies over time. I normally cut it very short and let it grow for a while.

The photos of me in the shades were taken summer of 2008 and the others are no more than 5 years ago.

I like natural, simple beauty and I'm unimpressed with multiple layers of make up, padding or anything fake.

Unlike many men, I'm not put-off by strong, smart women - I love them and hope to meet one on here.


I get asked, often hysterically, why I don't have a car ! well :-

1. I live in a small town where everything I want is 5 minutes walk away
2. Its a major source of expense and stress I don't have to worry about
3. I don't need to travel that much and when I do the station is a 2 minute walk
4. Not having a car keeps me fit and agile.
