To start off... I interpret "Other Relationship" to mean ... any of the others, Friends, Dating etc. Example a person might make a great Activity Partner (ie. running/cycling) but not interested in Long Term, and vice versa. But no one should settle for less than a good match in any situation. And it seems too many people do.

Q: "Why am I on this site?"

Short answer: I have very little time to go out to meet people. My work and projects keep my plenty busy; even finding time to exercise to stay healthy is sometimes difficult but I think its important.

Q: "What are you looking for?"

I don't have anything set in stone. I'll talk to anyone who contacts me, and find the right balance. I've met a few friends here, but still looking for that ideal relationship.

Hobbies/Activities: running a few times a week (in winter too), archery, and weight lifting.

Interests (in no particular order): videogames, logo design, information technology, industrial/electronic music, technical entrepreneurship, and scientific computing.

Goals: Start a business in high technology and make something really neat and unique that makes people say ... wow thats nifty.

Long term career goal: do something respectable that will be remembered for at least a couple of generations. Be a scientist, teacher, and business person all at once.

Uniquely Me (that makes me different from other guys!): Well read, knowledgeable about: current events; philosophical topics; lots of technology things. Idealistic about some things (ie. ethics), practical in others, like project management. I really like cats, and support the local cat rescue in this area.

Music: I like alternative more edged music that gets my blood pumping, whether I am lifting weights, or running, or just riding my bike. Current favorites: VNV Nation, and Crystal Method, and older industrial stuff. Music helps me stay in shape, and its very powerful for the emotions!

Favorite Authors: My 2 favorites that have withstood the test of time are JRR Tolkien's earlier works, and HP Lovecraft short stories. I'm proud of my Tolkien info on some Wikipedia pages too, that have stayed unaltered by other editors for a while now. I'd love to show the page to you, if you like, and you can tell me what you think.

Favorite TV show: "24" ... but also like classic shows like Gilligan's Island. Situational comedy was better written in the 60's than it is now. South Park is great for the occasional laugh.
