If I had to describe myself I would say that I am something of a renaissance man. I have bachelors degree in government and english with minors in history and zoology. Science has always held a certian fascination with me, but I realized early that I lacked the math skills to pursue that discipline fully. I love to read and my literary tastes run the full gamut from classics to scifi. Usually I read whatever happens to interest me at the moment. My television and movie interests run towards drama, comedy, action/adventure and science fiction. I am quite shy and retiring intially, but I am quite gregarious when among friends. I do have moody side and can be saturnine at times. I have a strong sense of empathy and compassion but little in the way of professional ambition. I don't live to work and do not define myself via my job title. I love nature and the myriad life forms that inhabit this planet. I try to spend time outdoors when it is not too hot.
