Forums Might Tell You A Few Things

I write quite a bit mostly rhythmic stuff about everyday things
and would really like to meet someone with a love of music
It doesn't matter what style as long as it moves you in some way.

My perfect mate would play some sort of instrument or sing
not a must but I would like that
and it would seem that I have found someone that fits this description
as well as fitting me
in fact she seems to be a perfectly tight fit if you know what I mean

I love being outside doing anything ,like to learn and discover
laugh my butt off and be the center of attention among other things
I will exchange e-mail and chat on line but my aim is to meet in person
and do things
doesn't really matter what as long as my safety is not put at risk
such as driving drunkenly through grave yards
I'm in no rush to get into one although we could write a song about it

when they write "I abhor deception"
do they mean I don't need the competition
or "fakers need not apply"
is it because it takes one to know one
or so little time to contrive ?

I say memories are great and to share divine
but past dysfunctions should be learned from
then buried in the deepest of time
we all know the ugly why relive that pain
its called a past so we
never have to cross paths again
I'm happy you've healed
and finally know who you are
but if you keep looking backwards
you are never going to get very far
