Just a good ole southern girl, raised in Oklahoma in the oilpatch. Recently divorced after 22 years, just pullin' myself up by my bootstraps and learnin' about the single life all over again, and hey...I kinda like it !
I don't like to brag about myself nor do I fancy puttin' myself down either. You'll have to pardon all the apostrophe's but I type just like I speak. I'm very laid back and even tempered, I must say I've learned that from my horse. He's been the only man in my life through this divorce stuff and to tell ya the truth...I think he's ready for me to find a man in my life I can trust and have fun with.
I work in the petroleum industry and have a very stressful job, that I probably have put too much energy into it lately. I'm a recovering workaholic, but I've learned to leave work at work. People say I'm "out there" sometimes, but I make 'em think. The persona of a dingy blonde...but smart like a fox. I suppose I use the persona as a defense sometimes, so people won't expect more out of me than I'm willin' to give.
I have lifelong friends who I treasure and I try to make new ones ever'day. I love my home and "piddle" alot (to you non-Texans, that means..well.. ya know...putz around doin' stuff) Sometimes ya gotta sit on me and make me be still but I'm always grateful when someone does. Then I relax and enjoy the company I keep.
I don't NEED a man in my life, I just WANT one. I'm financially secure, very settled for someone recently divorced, anyway. I don't have to be entertained, nor do I need endless attention. I don't want any more or any less than a man who is my equal. I am a happy person because I love like one. I want to make a happy man...happier.
I'm a lady, but not a prude. I worship Jesus and wear dresses. I love a cold beer driftin' down a lazy creek, I love roadtrips and bubble baths and cookie dough. I'm workin' on my spontaneity, but I'm so dayum responsible, it's hard. I love music, especially blues guitar, traditional country (Haggard not Chesney), and of course classic rock. I love to dance thanks to my Daddy, who taught me to jitterbug, western swing and two step when I was five years old and I never stopped.
I have a 23 year old daughter, who lives with her husband in Oklahoma and in the past three years has blessed me with two beautiful grandbabies, so I'm tryin' to find my "place" and what that roll is...but I do know....I'm doin' my best to set the best example for her to follow and she teaches me alot too. My family is very close, we enjoy each other and laugh ALOT ! We bring out the best in each other. Always have...always will.
I post here on the forums alot, so read me up ! lol. I won't respond to men with profiles with cheesy pics, of bare chests and your boy toys. Put your shirt on and grow up. It's okay to show your motorcycle. I understand gentlemen ride bikes, just like ladies ride horses. I don't consider either of those "toys", but a way of life. I love a manly man, who doesn't mind gettin' dirty. I must have a man that can handle the part of me that likes the grit and grime of all things earthy because there is always the time you'll see my very, very girlie side.... He must not worry that he'll get his shoes muddy, or think it's too cold to go outside and play. Sissies, need not apply !

I've seen youngster just give up and go sit down rather then compete with her ~ and Sunny be conpletely oblivious she was even in a contest. A wildcatter grandfather's favorite, she was in the oil fields at an early age counting pipe ~ and still today offers her keen knowledgable eye to that industry, keeping up with their "stuff". ~ Loves men, horses and music, defiantly a mans woman and you will find that very refreshing ~ if you been required to dealing with a lot of attitude with the ladies. ~ She does not demand or as for anything ~ you will find her more then deserving. In one years time she's been a perfect lady in every way. I will always be close to Sunny.
