I'm an easy to talk to guy who likes making people laugh. Drug/disease free, kid tested, mother approved, I'm a laid back, non - judgmental, abstract thinker who will play devil's advocate for the sake of intellectual debate. But I'm too goofy to be an intellectual, my serious side steps up mainly when needed to keep my good life in check.(like at work)
I'm articulate, open minded and have always been a EOD (Equal Opportunity Dater). An easy way to impress me is to tell a good story or make me laugh. I love to hear about other places since I don't travel as much as I would like, though I have been to Mexico, Jamaica and several US states.
Far as who I'm looking for, mostly I want someone who doesn't mind being a couch potato sometimes by watching movies and playing games, but will join me in getting out of the house and doing something active. Pool, bowling, eating out are all cool and the occasional adventurous activity keeps life interesting. (Heard about a wind tunnel in Raeford for instance, indoor skydiving?- Hell yea!) My dream girl doesn't have to have a killer bod, or in my ancestors words ... a badunkadunk. But of course a romantic relationship demands some physical attraction.
To me intelligence is the ultimate aphrodisiac - I'm also attracted to a good sense of humor, thoughtfulness, independence and willingness to learn/try new things. My next goal learn more about music, I like 80's and r&b but enjoy most anything good except country. If you know a lot about current releases, artists, bands and such you're a step ahead with me.

The best dates combine something interactive with casual conversation so you can get to know the other person. On one of my best I brought my date a frisbee and we played through a frisbee golf course while chatting. When done we sat and ate a picnic lunch I'd packed. Good stuff.
