The way I go about life is not to have the best car or the name brand clothes, if there's anything I want to find the best of in life it's the people I meet and the adventures I have... Anything that can be bought is disposable fairly irrelevant... I don't want to look back at my life and say "hey I own a BMW and a nice house", I want to look back in my life and be in awe of the things I have experienced and the people who have been/are a part of it.

I am honest... Bluntly... Confident in my decisions and thoughts, everyone in my life knows exactly what I think of them both good and bad, because I tell them, not in a mean****sh way or anything, I'm just an upront guy. Apparently this is unusual but tends to make for very little drama involving me since it leaves nothing to gossip about. Why would I need an excuse for what I honestly believe?

I think really at this point what I'm looking for as far as dating goes is a relatively mild level of companionship, if sparks fly and all I don't turn down awesome for timing but more someone to come over once a week or so for moviecuddles or make dinner together/go out to a show, whatever but not with any immediate pressure or relationship expectations... Enough to have some companionship and focus on all the other things I'd like to do without having to worry about actually dating or any of that stuff for a while.

I have a job and a car and don't live with my parents! Oh, and I fix things... Bikes, computers, jukeboxes, pretty much anything... Just a natural talent but I expect payment in cookies or dinner or such, that whole bachelor lifestyle thing causes me to appreciate the nomnoms.

Not sure how or if there is a way to describe my personality in writing, I'm smiling or laughing most of the time, life is fun and I like it! I find some humor in every day or situation, I'm confident and like myself but not a douche about it I just think I'm a pretty good person and work to be a better one... I'm a continual contradiction, a chess playing nerd that rebuilds old motorcycles and a peace loving hippie that gifts hugs as much as possible, but will stand up for myself and will toss a lady on the table and ravish her like a real man... So far nobody has ever claimed to have figured me out.

I'm not taking this too seriously but not against finding something serious from it either, since I like meeting people and have a bunch of hobbies I know A LOT of people, thus if we aren't a match I seem good at introducing people who are as well :)

I'm a very counter-phobic observer, so about half the time I'm analyzing/observing and the other half I'm actively engaging in things, finding the balance between being intellectual but also passionate about living, sometimes I get wrapped up a bit in either of those directions and use the excuse moderation only works in moderation :)

I prefer dive bars to clubs and little shops to retail outlets. I don't fancy myself a real photographer but I like to take pictures, lots and lots of them. This requires I go see new and interesting things on a regular basis so it's a pretty suiting hobby.

I am a politically and socially aware person.. I don't fit into any party but I agree with liberals on more issues than conservatives..

I also am not looking for a parent or someone controlling, not what dating is about for me... I'm enjoying this planet and won't spend my time arguing about petty things, let's go play together!

We will go on an adventure! Some of which I will have planned and some of it will be completely random from conversation and things we both enjoy... My last first date the plan was a hookah bar and board games but ended up being sailing and Poi, never even made it inside the hookah bar.
