First and foremost, to everyone on here that says "I can't believe I'm actually doing this," or "A friend of mine met someone on here so I figured I'd give it a shot," get over yourselves.


It's hard to meet a quality person these days in southern California. There it is, plain and simple. Chances are you're not going to meet the person you will ultimately be with on a chance outing to some club or local watering hole. People go out to have fun, let loose and drink. They're typically not there on a mission for love. And if they are looking for a hookup it's definitely not for the right person, rather the right now person for that night. Personally I think these sites are a great way to meet someone. I mean where else could you go and possibly communicate with such a vast array of different and interesting people? From the comfort and privacy of your own home no less. And for the most part, the people that take the time to do this probably have some substance to them. We all have busy lives; it's just the way it is around here. From jobs, to friends, traffic, family obligations there's just a lot of stuff to fit in which makes meeting people, especially quality people, a definite challenge in this day and age.

Me, I'm no exception. I'm just looking to meet a nice guy who in turn wants to meet a genuinely nice girl. I can’t give you a list of what I am looking for. I think everyone has the same list of what they are looking for in the long run. But everyone is different and they bring something different each time. Depends on the person as to who I am with. I thinK we need to find out if we even have a connection. And go from there. Starbucks, Jamba Juice, or Drinks at a bar to meet and then you never know. Maybe like the second date if it gets that far maybe dinner and Miniature Golf or Bowling.
