I am a li'l bit on the shy side but loosen up quickly. The pics w/ the western hat were taken on July '06 at my son's western theme wedding, I have put on some weight, yes, lbs!! thanks to the long winter months(sounds good, anyway). I am not completely bald, I do have blond hair! (at least around the edges). I am not good at taking pics of myself, as you can see in the pics with the dress hat and ball cap, taken this year, sorry. I grew up in Liberty that is in Clay County, Missouri. Lived around there most of my life. Been divorced for 24 years (m/l). I have worked as a carpenter for 25 years and as a Construction Engineer/site or field inspector for five. I have traveled a bit and lived in other states while I was a const. eng. (West Palm Beach, Fl., Washington D.C.and Las Vegas, Nv.)I am a real laid back person. I'm about as common as an ol' shoe, nothin' more and nothin' less. I feel most comfortable in my overalls (bibs) but like to dress up in my 'Sunday go to meetin clothes' once in a while.

I have 3 sons 38,36, and 30, 6 grandaughters and one grandson. 2 sisters one brother , 1 great grandson, a cat named Oreo and a partri.....oops got a li'l bit carried away. I am seeking a companion- age 48- 61 for travel, fun and adventure. Someone to grow old with. I don't like living alone and doing things by myself. I am compassionate, not afraid to show my feelings in or out of public, honest, faithful, loyal, like to tease(jokingly of course), a one of a kind (lol), and a touchy- feely kind of person (such as holdin' hands, putting my arm(s) around you, etc.) I believe myself to be a hopeless romantic. I won't and don't argue with anyone. Life is too short for that.

I am a very laid back person and can usually get along with most people.

I live by the Lake of the Ozarks/ Osage River Arm 1/4 mile to water. It's about 20 mi. SSE of Warsaw in the country. I have a boat and 2 canoes.

I attempt to dance when the oppurtunity arises(even though I am not great at it,lol).

My oldest son lives near Tampa, Florida, I will be flying down there to visit him and his family from time to tlme, so come on let's get ready and go!

I am financially stable and self supportive.

In the winter months I like to work jigsaw puzzles, travel, play board games, card games, internet, watch movies, and bowling. The rest of the year I like almost anything outside like camping, yard games, fishing, canoe floats, grilling, travel remodeling older houses and bowling, plus the ones that I forgot, ha. Just sitting on my front deck watching all the wild critters, birds and time go by. Except for fishing and bowling, I am not a big sports fan. (thats a switch, huh?)I am handy to have around the house. If it can be fixed or repaired, I'm your man. (or I can find someone that can do it, lol)

favorite saying- To dream of the person that you would like to be, is to waste the person you are.

How about holding hands and going on a long walk? Or a candlelit dinner and a good movie? Or sittin' by a campfire talking and getting to know each other better while the night slips by. I really am not sure, I am no good at making plans I am more on the spontaneous side. But whatever WE decide to do I'm sure it will be fun!
