I am intelligent, active and articulate. I have a diverse background with many interests. I enjoy the outdoors as well as cultural events. I can converse with most anyone on a variety of subjects, hence I am fun to take to a party. (smile)

Most would describe me as interesting, fun, quick witted, thoughtful, genuine, honest, open, generous, intuitive and a very good communicator.

I enjoy a great restaurant as well as making dinner at home; yes I can cook. I also collect wine and love to travel. I have been to Argentina, Chile, Italy, France, and Austria as well as Canada and Mexico. I would like to spend more time in the South of France and Italy and think retiring in Europe could be the great fun.

I am looking for someone with similar interests and traits but not a carbon copy. Though I am athletic, I am not looking for a training partner, necessarily. I am looking for a "last date", someone to share the wonderful aspects of my life, a true partner. I desire a woman who has her own interests and has something to bring to the table, so to speak. I think communication is a hugely important aspect of any successful relationship as is not taking the other person for granted, no matter how long you are together. I believe in doing and noticing the little things in a relationship that keeps it growing and alive.

Other random notes...I am athletic and hopefully that does not scare you off. I like sports and staying in shape but I am not a fanatic. I really enjoy animals and "rescued" a dog a year ago last February. Most would say I am youthful in spirit, actions and thought.

By the way, my photos are fairly recent, the oldest being from 2005, okay I guess that is not very recent anymore, hence why I just added two others. Speaking of which...two photos of skiing, one in France sitting on a wall, one in Paris at a party after the Tour de France with 2 friends and one with my god-daughter. The other two are from this summer in Mexico.
