Enjoying the outdoors is a real passion of mine. I love weekend road trips exploring new places; hiking, biking, photography, and simply getting out and breathing fresh air.

My friends describe me as being down-to-earth and funny, but most of them are old drunks sitting in seedy taverns. My 1 non-drunk friend agrees though. Dressing up for special occasions and work related events is always fun, but “jeans and a t-shirt guy” is better my description.

Love doing projects around the house. I can spend hours at Home Depot or Menards thinking about the projects to do. Time to clean up the garden and put the planters away until next year. Was a great year for tomatoes though!

When I’m not enjoying the outdoors I love to go to museums, explore Chicago neighborhoods, visit the Botanic Gardens, see a great band at a small pub, and spend time with family and friends. I'm very close with my family and have a wonderful circle of friends.

I'm the graphic arts director for a healthcare organization and enjoy my work immensely. It’s very rewarding to me and most of the time it’s not really work to me at all – rather getting paid do to something I love. But work is work and I try to leave work at the office. Time needs to be spent enjoying life as much as possible. A hard worker for sure, a workaholic I am not.

Big Cub fan, but really a big baseball fan. I go to as many White Sox games each year as Cubs games, so yes, that is possible. I just love the atmosphere of a Major League ballpark and think we're so lucky here in Chicago to have two teams.

Excited to be enjoying the Blackhawks again too. Nothing quite beats hearing the horn sound after a Hawks goal and then 20,000 fans dancing around to Chelsea Dagger.

I love to laugh and try to find humor in everything. Family get togethers are always gut wrenching fun because we can laugh at anything and usually do the entire time.

I'm looking for a girl to laugh with, go for an autumn walk through a state park on a Saturday afternoon with, cook dinner for (i love to cook), find a cool pub and enjoy a live band with, and to share life's pleasures with.

To be honest, exploring the world and traveling is an awesome experience. And i'm sure sushi is delicious. But neither are my top priorities in a relationship. Getting to know someone, and sharing the simple things first are what make a relationship have the potential to flourish for me.

Nothing too loud. No one wants to be shouting to hear on the first date. I like to get to know a person in a nice relaxed setting.
