OK, so I'll just start with a few facts about me: I own a horse which is a big part of my life. I'm a vegan. I like cooking, wine, reading, dancing, salad, chocolate, my cottage, nature, trying new restuarants and BBQ's. I have an undergrad in science of Nutrition & Food and I am also an holistic nutritionist. I like to do pretty much anything outdoorsy (camping, cottages, golf, hiking, fishing). I've never been a gym person, but I am very into yoga, and obviously equestrian.

They ask about your 'taste in music' on here... I really don't think that's important but if anyone needs to know I like a bit of everything. I'm pretty boring. most stuff I listen to is oldies, some alternative & rock, country (yes... I love country!), folk and other 'easy listening' type music.

Anyone who knows me (and I actually asked around before writing this) would describe me as always busy, talkative, intelligent, perceptive and "individualistic". I'm definitely a 'big picture' person, little things rarely stress me out. I am very (sometimes brutally) honest, super organized and a terrible actress. I am more optimistic than pessimistic, and I possess a well rounded, spiritual and grounded outlook on life.

Moving right along, my lesser qualities... some people may think I talk too much (& too fast!), the honesty thing I mentioned earlier can get you into trouble sometimes, I'm not very detail oriented, I do not accept compliments very well, I'm horrible with electronics and computers, the backseat of my car often looks like a closet/library/recycling centre, etc. I'm actually a bit of a clean freak when it comes to my home and kitchen and stuff, but when my life gets busy, I end up taking it out on my car and bedroom floor.


I believe you never know what you're looking for 'til you find it. So...

I don't require someone who has the same interests as me, just someone who is in touch with who they are, proud to be themselves and never afraid to learn something new. I can't stand it when people take themselves too seriously so you must be able to laugh at yourself... and laugh at me when I make fun of myself!!! And you must be down to earth.... and you can't be afraid of the actual "earth", or in other words, things like nature, animals, bugs and mud. I do spend a lot of time outdoors, especially with my horse and there is a proportionate amount of dirt and odor that go hand in hand with that.

On a first date with someone I met online It would have to say something brief like lunch, or a drink or coffee shop.
On a real first date, with someone I have already met once, I love going to dinner and trying new restaurants/ethnic cuisines. Yuk yuks always makes for a good date. I enjoy cooking dinner and watching a movie way more than I enjoy movie theatres.
